After 5 months on maternal duties Shala returned to the ring for the first time at the Sunshine Coast Kennel Club Show on 30th March, 2008 and finished her title in style:

Best of Breed 15 points, she then went on to be awarded Best Hound in Group 4 (Group 1)/Best Intermediate in Group. The Group Judge - Mrs A. Meyn from New South Wales went on to comment:

"A lovely moderate bitch who floats around the ring"

This delightful young lady joined our family at 9 weeks of age.

With a wonderful temperament and soundly constructed Shala is a balanced dog, her strengths laying in her nature and intelligence. Shala is trick, canine freestyle trained gaining her Starters Freestyle title in September 2010. Shala has completed her beginners agility training to a level where she is proficient on an agility course.

Shala is the In House Pet Therapy dog for the Aged Care Facility where I work.

Shala is truly an all round, fine representative of the Rhodesian Ridgeback and I thank Rosemary Green for allowing us to have this exceptional girl in in our family.
